Sweet Potato Pastry Spirals Pastry - 1/2 tablespoon ground ginger. 1.25 cups white flour 1/3 cup chicpea flour 1/4 teaspooon salt 6 ounces low-fat cream cheese cut into 1/2 inch pieces 1/2 cup of butter sugar (optional) Mix ginger, flour, salt, cream cheese and butter in work bowl and mix until dough forms Chill dough in freezer Filling - 1.5 cups cooked, mashed sweet potato. 0.5 tablespoons garam masala 1 tablespoon minched jalapeno chili 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro or parsley 2 tablespoon organe juic concentrate or mango puree 1/2 teaspoon salt. Combinine the seet potatoes, garam masala, chili, cilantor, organe juic and salt in a bowl and mix well. Preheat oven to 375 F. Roll pastry into 25"*13" rectangle. Spread filling evenly over surface leaving 1/2" clear at edges. Roll into a long log (25" long) and gently press ends to seal. Cut the log crosswise to make approximately 30 slices. Place spirals on baking tray. Bake until lightly browned - 20 minutes or so. Cool on tray and then transfer to wire racks.
