Pork Chow Mien Simple Chinese Ingredients 250g (9 oz) egg noodles 4-5 tbsp vegetable oil 250g (9 oz) pork fillet, cooked 125g (4.5 oz) green beans 2 tbsp light soy sauce 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp sugar 1 tbsp Chinese rice wine or sherry 2 spring onions, finely shredded sesame oil chilli sauce Steps 1. Cook noidles and rinse under cold water when done. 2. Slice pork into thin shreds and prepare beans 3. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in pan and stir-fry noodles for 2-3 minutes with tbsp soy sauce. Remove and keep warm 4. Heat oil and stir-fry beans and meat for 2 minutes. Add salt, sugar, wine or sherry, soy cauce and half scallions. Stir mixture in wok adding a little stock as needed. Pour on top of noodles and add remaining spring onions as garnish. 5. Chilli sauch optional.
