Semmelknodel - Dumplings Ingredients - 8 dry bread rolls (stale is fine) - cut into pieces 1/4 litre (1 cup) milk 1/2 onion + parsley (cut into pieces) and roasted in butter 3 eggs salt and pepper 4-5 tablespoons of flour Method - Cook onion and parsley until golden. Mix all above ingredients From dumplings (small ball sized) Heat a pot of simmering salty water Cook dumplings for 15-20 minutes. Addition - Cut up 2 onions, 8 ounces of mushrooms, 1 tomato and fry Add cup of heavy cream to make a good sauce. Sara Schneider
