Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients - 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 cup margarine or butter, softened 1 egg 2.25 cups of flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup coarsely chopped nuts 1 package (12 oz) semi-sweetened chocolate chips Steps - 1. Heat oven to 375C. Grease cookie trays. 2. Mix sugar, butter and egg. 3. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Batter now stiff. 4. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. 5. Drop tsp sized drops 2 inches apart on baking tray. 6. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown. Betty Crocker, p 107.
