1. DELL System Fail

Dell Pentium 4 System Fail
	SuSE 7.2,7.3 fails with "kernel "panic"
	BIOS problem
Solution
	Boot from CD
	type boot:linux disableapic
	press <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<Del> when system hangs
	Proceed as pint one.
	When give option "Boot the installed system" use it.
	Start YaST2.
	Select SYSTEM->Select Kernel, "Standardized Kernel 2.4 (pentium optimized)"

May also have to modify /etc/lilo.conf

	search for line, append=""
	and add disableapic.

Or use,
	Boot off CD.
	boot: linux disablepic maxcpus=0 nosmp.
	select "Installation safe settings"
	add -> maxcpus=0 nosmp

2.  Repartitioning.

	Use the command mkfs to make a file system

3.  Long Passwords
	
	Got longer than 8 character passwords enabled. 
	Go to YasT2 security settings.  Enable MD5 passwords!
	That's it.
